Privacy
Short version. The complete privacy policy will be published before this site goes live.
Who is responsible
César Hoyos Franco, Madrid (Spain). You can write to me through the contact form on this site or by replying to the confirmation email you receive after using it.
What this site collects
Browsing this site does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts, and it does not load external fonts.
If you use the contact form, I receive what you write in it: your name, your email address, your organisation (optional), the reason you choose and your message. I also keep the date, the language of the form and the address of the page it was sent from.
What I use it for
Only to read your message and reply to you. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form; you can withdraw it at any time.
To help me organise the messages, an artificial intelligence model reads the reason, the organisation and the text of your message (not your name or your email) and suggests a category (for example, «technical question» or «spam»), a priority and a one-line summary. It is only a suggestion for me: it makes no decision about you, and nothing is sent to you automatically apart from a short confirmation that your message has arrived. Messages that look like spam are kept but not answered.
Who helps me (service providers)
- Cloudflare: delivers and protects the website and checks that the form is not being used by a robot (Turnstile).
- Google (Google Sheets): where the messages are kept.
- Hostinger: the email service that sends the confirmation.
- Telegram: notifies me on my phone that a new message has arrived.
- OpenRouter: gives access to the AI model that classifies the message.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; when they do, they rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR (such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).
How long I keep it
Messages are kept for 12 months and then deleted automatically. Like any website, the server and Cloudflare also record technical data (IP address, date and page requested) for security, and keep it for a short time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict its use, or to take it with you (portability), by writing to me through the contact form or by replying to the confirmation email. If you think your data has not been handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD): https://www.aepd.es.
